Our Parent Education Program this year will again bring in some great speakers and address some important topics. We strive to guide and equip our Legacy Parents as they face the challenges of parenting in this culture. The dates for our PEP Talks are:

Coffee with the Counselor 2019-2020
Several times a semester I will have coffee with parents of early education, lower education or middle school. These coffees are a great time for me to share what I am seeing among our students, and to answer any questions you may have. Each stage of parenting is filled with blessings and challenges. These coffees will give us an opportunity to share each milestone with others. Community breeds confidence. We must navigate this journey together.
Furry Friend Fridays 2019-2020
Beginning January 2020, my therapy dog, Shepherd, will join the Legacy team to provide services that only a furry friend can provide. He will read with students, listen to their struggles, celebrate their victories, and provide them with an extra layer of comfort and courage. Follow our blog to see his progress in Therapy School.
